Orchestrator Tools 0.55.0 Release Note

Introduction

The Orchestrator Tools simplify the management of the orchestrator.

This release note describes the changes of Orchestrator Tools version 0.55.0 compared to 0.54.0.

Orchestrator Tools 0.55.0 were released on January 28, 2026.

New features

  • Issue tools #153 Allow for --force option when deregistering agents
    A new --force option is now available for the opentf-ctl delete agent {agent_id} command, to forcefully deregister an agent from the orchestrator. This will not stop any ongoing process on the agent's side, the change only affects the orchestrator. The attributed workflow will also be cancelled.
